Build it and they will come...

I love this quote from Field of Dreams. I built my garage and studio in my NE Portland neighborhood in 2007. It took me 3 years to get it signed off with the city of Portland and I wouldn't have been able to do it with out the help and encouragement of so many friends and family.

In 2010 I moved into the studio with my sweet cat Roxie. I had a lot of work to do on it, but it was livable and I was able to rent out my house to help pay the bills while I looked for a new job and to keep plugging away to reach my dream.... building a neighborhood creative space.

Now it's June 2023 and I'm retiring from corporate to make my dream reality. As I build out my space I will share photos and thoughts along the way. I've always wanted to blog... so here goes!
