Spring is here!

It’s been a while since I’ve been in front of my computer. When I retired last June, I thought I’d come rushing out of the gate, getting my house and studio projects completed in 3 months. Boy was I wrong! I found myself needing to slow down and take care of my mental, physical and creative health. Now that spring is here, I feel renewed and am enjoying the awaking in nature and in myself.

Last weekend I took a class at Club Cactus called Doodlefest: The Ultimate Zendoodle, taught by Jane Russell. I met Jane during Covid, she has an art studio where she teaches classes to kids and adults (sounds familiar, huh?). I have to say it was a gift to learn about her studio and get to know Jane. She’s an amazing artist and is full of creativity. I wanted to share the doodles from the class and share the link to Jane’s website. As for me, I’ve dropped my timeline to get things done. I’m no longer a Project Manager, I am semi-retired, setting up my space. When it gets done, it will be beautiful. I’m having fun working on things in fluid time…. if it’s sunny, I’m in the garden getting dirty and walking Daisy. If it’s raining, I’m in the house or garage working on things and walking Daisy.

I’ll get in front of my computer a little more often and share how my journey is going.
